Accessibility at CurateBook
Our commitment
CurateBook is working toward meeting the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 Level AA across our website and book-building experience. This is a target, not a claim that every part of the service currently conforms.
What we are working on
Our accessibility work includes the marketing site, account access, photo upload, automated curation, book editing, proof review, checkout, order status, support, and their mobile experiences.
- Keyboard access and visible focus throughout each journey
- Clear headings, landmarks, labels, instructions, and error messages
- Screen-reader announcements for uploads, processing, saves, and order status
- Alternatives to drag-only editing, reordering, cropping, and focal-point controls
- Support for text resizing, reflow, reduced motion, and sufficient contrast
- Captions or transcripts for meaningful video and audio content
Known limitations
Some advanced Studio controls are still being improved for keyboard, screen-reader, zoomed, and narrow-screen use. The mobile editor is also being rebuilt as a staged phone experience. We will update this statement as testing and remediation are completed.
Need assistance or found a barrier?
Email support@curatebook.com with the page or feature involved, what you were trying to do, and the browser or assistive technology you were using. Please do not include passwords, payment details, or sensitive photographs.
We will acknowledge accessibility requests and work with you on an alternative way to complete the task while the barrier is reviewed. Response-time commitments will be added after the support process is operationally verified.
