These Terms are an agreement between you and Simply Get Holdings, which operates CurateBook (“CurateBook”, “we”). They govern use of the CurateBook website, account, Studio, curation, proof, ordering, and support services. You must be at least 18, or the age of legal majority where you live, to create an account or purchase.
2. The CurateBook service
CurateBook helps customers upload photographs, organize and edit a book, review a digital proof, and order a custom-printed product. Available formats, page limits, materials, prices, taxes, shipping options, and estimated timing are those presented in the current product and checkout screens, subject to validation and order acceptance.
3. Your content
You keep ownership of photographs, captions, and other content you submit. You grant CurateBook and its necessary service providers a limited, non-exclusive permission to host, process, organize, render, transmit, print, ship, support, and retain that content only as needed to provide the service you request, comply with law, and resolve an order issue.
You are responsible for having the copyright, privacy, publicity, and other permissions needed for submitted content, including photographs of children or other people. You remain responsible for reviewing the content and layout you approve.
4. Curation and optional AI
Automated tools can suggest which photographs to keep or hold, group photographs, and draft book text. Results may be incomplete or inaccurate. They are a starting point, not professional advice or a guarantee of quality. You can review and change automated choices before approving a book.
Automatic naming is part of building a book: to suggest a book title and chapter introductions, CurateBook sends chapter dates, place names, photo counts, and up to three sample filenames per chapter to its AI provider. No photograph or photo pixels are sent for naming. By creating an account you accept this naming notice together with these Terms; you can edit or replace any suggested title, and you may ask support to withdraw the notice for your account.
Features that analyze the photographs themselves (for example, AI photo curation) require a separate, affirmative consent for each book before any photo pixels are sent to an external provider. Declining an optional AI feature does not prevent use of the standard book-building tools. Details are provided in the Privacy Policy and the applicable consent notice.
5. Orders and payment
Before payment, checkout will show the selected product, page count, shipping information, taxes, and total price. By submitting an order, you authorize Stripe to charge the displayed amount. An order is accepted only after payment succeeds and CurateBook confirms it can be produced. CurateBook may reject or cancel an order and return the applicable payment when it cannot safely or lawfully be fulfilled.
6. Proof approval and printing
You must review the proof for photographs, spelling, captions, page order, crop, bleed, and resolution warnings. Approval authorizes production of that version. Screens and printed output may differ because of display settings, paper, ink, trim, binding, and ordinary manufacturing tolerances. Print-quality warnings, such as photos flagged as too low-resolution, are shown before you approve; approving a book with a warning is your choice.
7. Production and delivery
Production and delivery dates are estimates unless checkout expressly states otherwise. A print partner manufactures the custom book and carriers deliver it. You are responsible for providing a complete and accurate address. CurateBook will provide available tracking and help investigate qualifying production or delivery problems.
8. Cancellations and product problems
Because books are custom products, changes or cancellation may no longer be possible after the order enters production. Contact support@curatebook.com promptly with the order number.
If your book is damaged in shipping or handling, contact support within 30 days of delivery with your order number and clear photographs of the damage. We will replace the book or refund it.
Refunds and replacements are only for damage in shipping or handling. Because you review and approve every book before it is printed, we do not refund or replace a book for content you approved, including spelling or caption errors, photo choice, crop, or page order, low-resolution photos (including photos the print check flagged), or other customer errors.
Nothing in these Terms limits rights you have under applicable consumer law.
9. Acceptable use
Do not use CurateBook to violate law or another person's rights; submit content you lack permission to reproduce; exploit or harm children; distribute malware; interfere with security or service operation; impersonate others; or attempt unauthorized access. CurateBook may reject content or restrict access when reasonably necessary to protect customers, providers, the service, or comply with law.
10. Service and third parties
CurateBook depends on hosting, storage, payment, optional AI, printing, delivery, and communication providers. Features may change or be temporarily unavailable. CurateBook software, branding, and original site content remain protected by applicable intellectual-property law; these Terms do not transfer ownership of them.
11. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. If a dispute cannot be resolved by contacting support@curatebook.com, it will be brought in the state or federal courts serving Pasco County, Florida.
Nothing in these Terms limits any rights you have as a consumer under applicable law.
12. Changes and contact
These Terms are version 1.1, effective October 2, 2026. Material changes will receive appropriate notice, and updated acceptance will be requested where required. Questions may be sent to support@curatebook.com.
